The procedure takes several hours with most patients going home the same day. If patients wish, they may stay overnight in Dr.Brown's suite with two nurses in attendance.
There will be some swelling immediately after forehead lift surgery however most of the swelling is gone after one week. Sutures are removed starting on the fifth day postop with the remaining sutures being removed within 7-10 days.
